OUR STORY
At Books in Balance, our journey began long before the business had a name.
With over 10 years of experience working in small business, aged care, and the NDIS sector, we’ve lived and breathed the details, demands, and unique challenges these industries face. We’ve seen firsthand the stress that financial admin can create and the confidence that comes when it’s done well.
We understand the ins and outs, the compliance, the billing structures, the follow-up processes, the reporting, and most importantly, the level of accuracy and care required to keep a business financially secure. Managing invoicing, reconciliation, cashflow, and accounts is so much more than data entry, it’s the backbone of a healthy, thriving business. And we’re deeply passionate about getting it right.
Numbers run in our veins.
They’ve always made sense to us, and we love transforming financial chaos into clarity. We believe that small business owners, NDIS and aged care service providers deserve a bookkeeping service built on both skill and heart, one that understands their world and speaks their language.
Books in Balance was created to offer exactly that.
A service where expert bookkeeping meets compassion, where clarity leads to confidence, and where every client feels supported, understood, and empowered.
Today, we’re proud to help businesses across Australia stay organised, balanced, and in control of their financial future.
Because when your books are balanced, your business can truly bloom.
MEET THE TEAM
Meet Holly
Bookkeeper | Books in Balance
Holly is your bookkeeping powerhouse, sharp, detail-driven, and deeply dedicated to keeping your business financially steady and stress-free. Don’t let her warm and fun-loving personality fool you; when it comes to numbers, systems and financial organisation, she’s an absolute force.
With over a decade of experience working across NDIS, real estate, rural industries, and administration roles, Holly has always had a natural talent for numbers and structure. She’s also served as the Fundraising Vice President at her children’s school, coordinating large-scale events and managing significant budgets with ease. Wherever precision and financial clarity were needed, Holly was the one people relied on.
Her background supporting her child through the NDIS has given her a strong understanding of the complexities faced by providers, support workers and small business owners. This insight helps her approach bookkeeping with empathy, patience and a genuine desire to make things easier for others.
Holly describes herself as “neuro-spicy”, and proudly so. Her brain switches into hyper-focus mode when tackling complex tasks, diving into reconciliations, reviewing reports, or sorting through intricate paperwork. It’s her superpower: a laser-sharp ability to spot what others miss and ensure nothing slips through the cracks.
Honest, dependable, and a natural organiser, Holly brings structure, calm and clarity to every business she supports. She loves creating systems, cleaning up chaos, and turning financial confusion into balance and confidence.
Outside of work, Holly can be found collecting hobbies, buying craft supplies, and occasionally finishing the projects she starts…but always with a smile.
Holly holds a Certificate IV in Accounting & Bookkeeping and brings her whole heart into helping others feel financially secure, supported, and in control.
With Holly on your books, you can truly count on balance.
